Faith doesn't make things easy. It makes them possible.

Sometimes people think faith means life should go smoothly. If you believe enough, the problems will disappear.

That hasn't been my experience. Faith didn't take away the gorge. It gave me the courage to cross the bridge.

The hard things still came. But I wasn't crossing alone, and I believed there was solid ground on the other side.
