Happiness isn't more. It's noticing.
We chase happiness like it's somewhere else โ in the next trip, the next raise, the next milestone.
But most of my happiest moments were tiny and already here: morning light across a quilt, a sleeping cat, the smell of rain, a song I forgot I loved.
Happiness isn't always something you add. Very often, it's something you notice.
Try it today. Put the phone down for five minutes and look around slowly. Find three things that are quietly good. They were there all along, waiting for you to see them.
