Not yet does not mean never.

When something doesn't happen on our timeline — the job, the relationship, the healing, the answer to a prayer — we tend to hear "never."

But a closed bud in a garden full of flowers isn't a failed flower. It's a flower that's not ready yet.

Some of the best things in life came late. Late loves. Late careers. Late realisations that changed everything.

If you're still waiting, hold on to the word "yet." It's one of the most hopeful words there is.
