Regrets

Forgive the you who didn't know yet.

We judge our younger selves so harshly. How could I have trusted them? Why didn't I see it? Why did I say yes to that?

But the person you were then didn't have what you have now: the experience, the scars, the hindsight. They were doing their best with smaller shoes and less light.

You wouldn't scold a child for not knowing how to read yet. Give the younger you the same grace.
