Growing up

You are becoming who you needed when you were younger.

Think about who you needed when you were younger. Someone who listened. Someone who believed in you. Someone safe.

Now look at yourself. Maybe you're slowly becoming that person — for your children, your students, your younger colleagues, or even for yourself.

That's one of the most healing parts of growing up. You can give others what you once lacked.

You're becoming who you needed. Keep going.
