Privacy

In short: reading leyzays is private. This site doesn’t ask for your name or email, doesn’t use analytics, ads or tracking pixels, and doesn’t set any cookies while you read.

What happens when you visit

Pages, pictures, fonts and songs all come from this site’s own server — your browser doesn’t contact Google, Facebook or anyone else. Like every web server, ours briefly keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time) to keep the site running and secure. They are not used to identify or profile anyone and are deleted within 14 days.

Sharing a note

“Share with music” and “Share the link” use your own phone’s share menu. Whatever you choose to share goes straight from your device to the app you pick — nothing passes through or is recorded by this site.

The studio

Only Ley can sign in to write notes. That login uses a strictly necessary security cookie, and sign-in attempts are logged for security for 14 days.

Instagram

Notes are also posted to Instagram. If you follow, like or comment there, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies. This site never sees your Instagram account.

Where everything comes from

• Illustrations and logo — original artwork made for leyzays with an AI image tool, from Ley’s own ideas. They show no real people.
• Handwriting — where a note is marked as handwritten, it is Ley’s own.
• Songs — original pieces composed for each note. The instrument sounds are from the MuseScore General SoundFont (MIT License; FluidR3 by Frank Wen, FluidR3Mono by Michael Cowgill, adaptation by S. Christian Collins).
• Fonts — Newsreader and Nanum Pen Script, under the SIL Open Font License.
• Words — written by Ley. You’re welcome to share any note with credit to @leyzays.
