Love

Life isn't fair. Love doesn't need it to be.

Some days the world feels plainly unfair. Why this, why us, why my child. Parenting through hard seasons — especially a child with special needs — is a rollercoaster of amazing highs and crushing lows, and nobody hands you a map.

But somewhere in the middle of it I realised something: life doesn't have to be fair for love to be real. Love doesn't wait for the weather to be good. It puts on its boots and walks out into the puddle anyway, right beside the small pair.

Unfairness is a fact. Love is a choice you keep making. And the choice is bigger.
