Love

Love is patient with the parts that are still healing.

Everyone carries old cracks into love. Past hurts, childhood wounds, habits built to protect themselves.

The love worth keeping doesn't pretend those cracks aren't there. It doesn't demand you be fully healed before you're allowed in. It holds the cup gently, knowing where it's fragile.

And it's patient — not forever tolerant of harm, but patient with the slow work of healing.

If you're loved like that, treasure it. If you love someone like that, you're doing something beautiful.
