Some seasons are sprints. Most are not.
There are years when the progress is so slow you can't see it — you're paying off the debt, learning the skill, healing the thing, raising the child — and every day looks exactly like the one before. It's easy to feel like you're standing still.
But a snail crossing a garden path is still crossing it. Slow is still a direction. The people who get somewhere are rarely the fastest; they're the ones who kept going on the days that felt pointless.
Stop measuring your pace against someone else's highlight reel. They have a different path, different weather, a different shell to carry. Look back at where you were a year ago. You moved. That counts.
