You are allowed to love yourself before you're finished.
Somewhere along the way many of us picked up a strange rule: love yourself later. After the weight comes off. After the promotion. After you fix the temper, the habits, the mess.
But you are not a renovation that has to be finished before anyone's allowed to move in. A half-stitched flower is still beautiful — you can already see what it's becoming, and the thread is still in the needle.
Loving yourself now doesn't mean you stop growing. It means you stop making your own kindness conditional. You can be proud of how far you've come and still be working on the rest. Both can live in the same heart.
The finished version of you isn't coming. There's only this one, still stitching. Be gentle with her.
