Choose the people who stay for the ordinary days.

Anyone can show up for the party. The graduation, the wedding, the big announcement — those days are full of people.

Look around on a plain Tuesday instead. Who texts to ask if you got home? Who sits with you in the rain without trying to fix anything? Who shares their last pandesal and doesn't make a thing of it?

Those are your people. Not the loudest ones, not the ones with the most likes on your post — the ones who stay when nothing much is happening. Life is mostly ordinary days. Choose the ones who can do ordinary with you.

And then be that person for someone else. Showing up on a regular Tuesday is one of the most underrated forms of love there is.
