Handwritten: Slow is still moving forward.

Little notes on love, life, failing and letting go — each one drawn, then written by hand. New ones hang on the line below.

Illustration of a rose-coloured hot-air balloon rising over green hills at sunrise, its rope trailing loose.

Fresh off the line

  1. Illustration: Morning light through a window falling on a cat curled asleep on a patchwork quilt, a small potted plant on the sill. Happiness isn't more. It's noticing.
  2. Illustration: A simple meal of rice, grilled fish and sliced tomatoes served on a banana leaf on a wooden table, a glass of water, warm sunlight. Enough is a feast.
  3. Illustration: An open book on a garden table with the wind lifting and turning its pages, a pressed leaf between them, blurred flowers behind (no readable text). Some chapters end without a goodbye. Turn the page anyway.
  4. Illustration: A single small wildflower growing out of a crack in an old stone wall, warm sunlight falling on it, moss around the stones. One day you'll see you were already enough.
  5. Illustration: Soft ocean waves washing onto a sandy shore, each wave leaving a small seashell behind, a line of shells along the waterline, pastel sky. The lesson comes back until you listen.

A question for today

What are you still learning that you wish you'd already mastered?
